"Diesel / Steampunk, machinery with gears and pipes, metallic or rusted" won the poll "What Kind of Images Do You want To See More of?", so I returned to this theme ^_^
I think it's nice as wallpaper, but it has a bit of "that creepy feeling".

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis works shows an amazing degree of depth and illusion of light. Every look I take reveals more detail and more richness in the image. How does anyone do this?! It replaces the grit and grim of most steampunk - like works with clean ultra- realistic metal. And the depth appears endless, unlike a few simple layers representing foreground and background that I see in many works. Also, the detail follows straight through from foreground to background with tiny hints at a larger landscape in the background. I see this artist creating marketing pieces in the future that attract the viewer subliminally.
