Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactYou're correct for sure on your initial comment on this work- the w=quickness of it lends a nice, ethereal, even surreal affect to it. The blurring along the outline of the bird itself makes it seem almost transient, almost not there. Also, brilliant use of colours. Though ravens (and birds in general) are used quite often, and aren't the most original subject of darker paintings (or artwork in general), this one is especially impactful due to the style and the high contras between the foreground and background elements. Equally so, lovely work on the outlining of light around the subject matter. Altogether, wonderful work! Would love to see more like this, in this style, and at the same level of darkness/morbidity.
